About
About GhanaCarHire
GhanaCarHire is a directory of car hire, chauffeur and airport-transfer firms in Ghana, covering all 16 regions. You find a firm and contact it directly on WhatsApp, by phone or with an enquiry form. We don’t take bookings or car hire payments, and we take no commission.
How listings are compiled
Every listing starts from the firm’s own public information: its website, its Google Business profile or its own social pages. We record where each detail came from and when we checked it. Logos and photos are credited to the firm. We don’t invent prices, reviews or fleets, and where a firm publishes prices we show them as published, with a reminder to confirm when you enquire.
Listings are not endorsements. Each one shows Unverified until the firm passes our checks.
How verification works
Firms can apply for the green Verified badge from their dashboard. We review their business registration (ORC or business name certificate), the owner’s Ghana Card, DVLA registration and photos of at least two cars with plates visible, and commercial or hire insurance. We also confirm their contact details by phone or WhatsApp and check their location. Verified status lasts one year, and we re-check sooner if we receive a complaint.
Keeping visitors safe
Every listing has a “Report a scam” button. A report hides the listing until we review it. Our anti-scam guide explains how to pay deposits safely.
How GhanaCarHire is funded
Listing is free. Firms can pay for the Verified badge or for a Featured placement at the top of their city pages (see plans). Featured firms are clearly labelled, and their order rotates daily.
